Joan's right. She's not doing anything against the rules, but abusing her stock would be. I am becoming annoyed at DA's human subject stock section because increasingly it seems alot of the Stock suppliers are saying 'use my stock but do x with it'. It's like they are saying make the pictures they already have in mind for them. X.X |

Well, like I said previously, when you need stock from that particular genre, and when you're so bogged down with restrictions, it becomes increasingly harder to find what you need. It takes the fun out of manip'ing the picture. Yes, trying to find those unorthodox ways of manip'ing a photo can be fun, but when it has those themes that she's deeming "unacceptable" in them, it makes it quite frustrating, and it's not fun anymore.
I don't really think a zillion restrictions on a picture give the photominppers a chance to think out of the box, I think it gives them a chance to be incredibly frustrated ^^; I know I would be.
I like the idea of stock to use for photomanip's and such, but if you're going to put so many restrictions on it, don't use it for stock. That's all I was really trying to say. _________________

Joan, if I don't have the right to say her stocks are bad, wouldn't it be just as bad to say they were good?
I think raini got my point. I talked to Della today. I think she puts too much trust in the manippers. People outside of DA use DA stock and don't tell teh DA people about it all the time. They have a sub-forum dedicated to reporting them on DA's messageboard. |
