@Chicken: I realize my fervor got the better of me, but for those affected by this tragedy, and every American was, it is hard to feel sympathy for the man. All things considered I feel his burial at sea was appropriate for two reasons. 1) It shows that we are not barbarians and are, in fact, a civilized society that does not carry somebody's debt to humanity into the afterlife. And 2) Every time somebody pees in the beach they'll be pissing on his grave.

@Fazermint: I like you man, but am unable to relate with your views. I feel as though no matter what the US Government does somebody has to shout conspiracy.

@Blade: Ditto, except replace "I like you man" with "You're my brother from another mother."

no, i dont expect anybody to feel sympathy. but i also dont expect anybody to piss on someones grave.
and yes, i cannot even imagine what a terror attack like this means to a country and especially its habitants. i am truly thankful that i live in a country that is very little in danger of being attacked.
BUT. he is dead. there is no more physical harm you can do him. desecrating his grave or pissing on the beach on purpose to piss on his burial ground... you know, this is just too much. let him rest as you let anyone else rest who has done something wrong. dont let your hate fuel your actions.

@Jason, you probably have to be non-American to believe in the 9/11 conspiracy theory. The thing to remember is that it happened under Bush' regime. And that bastard was just sick enough to do something like that. I still believe Obama is a good guy, but telling the truth would have been, well, untactical.

I don't consider 9/11 the usual whacky Aliens/Elvis conspiracy theory.

I do believe the media, even in Austria, is somewhat controlling and triggering you (us, the citizens) ,
f. ex. when all of a sudden, from one moment to another, Russia is in the news with human right violations, surpressing their opposition & free media, when these things have been going on for decades? Why bring it up now? (ok not now but 2 years ago)
Because it is/was the interest of politics to badmouth them at this very point, and to give them a bad reputation in the very public eye.

There is so little information on Osama's death available. They were not able to capture him alive? Put him into trial? . . .
When Saddam was hung, there was even a friggin' video available of it.

Now that he's dead, do all these homeland security laws get rewinded? Can I get a passport now without giving out my fingerprints?

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I feel sorry for everyone who got hurt in 9/11, and I'm glad Osama is (hopefully) dead, but this whole thing raises so many inconvenient questions, I just can't them put aside.
