that's what comes from the ultimate network of information we have today:
someone tells you: 9/11 was an inside job! shows you tons of facts, and you think "hell, that's true!"
then someone tells you: 9/11 was a terrorist attack! shows you tons of facts, and you think "hell, that's true!"
fact is, you have no chance of getting valid information on any huge worldevent that's somehow important from now on. everybody can tell you everything, and YOU can never tell if he's not lying.
who cares if osama was real or not? what difference does it make? why would the government lie to you? why not? you will never get the chance of getting to know the truth, for there is everybodys own truth standing against everyone elses. _________________

If we're going to debate the 9/11 conspiracy there is a thread for it in the debate forum. For now those of us that do believe Osama Bin Laden did exist and was killed enjoy the man's death.
@Chicken: come on, man, the last part of that statement was obviously a joke, lol. My dad came up with it actually.

More like don't waste time questioning things that have no clear answer. It will never move you forward in life physically, psychologically, emotionally, socially, or otherwise. And why would you waste time standing still? _________________

I tend to only believe things I've somehow experienced myself, and then project it. has proven to be quite solid in small matters.
for such huge-ass things like Osamas death, I believe in things from both sides that seem reasonable from a world-politics view.
for example: Osama is dead, that I believe, but he propably could have been killed earlier. I don't think they just found him and then went "ah we gotta kill him right now" but they observed him to a point where he was useless for the rest of the terrorists world. then they waited for a time where the world needs the death of one of the evil bosses and killed him.
if they really just found him and killed him instantly... that would be so dumb I can't believe the western world to be. I mean, it's so senseless, and the mightiest military on the planet doesn't manage to capture a single man? I hope for the USA that I'm right with my stated theory _________________

It's my understanding that once the military realized Osama was there, the soldiers were specifically ordered to shoot, not capture.
Osama was wanted dead or alive. In this case, dead.
As for Osama being killed however long ago and them waiting until now to say so, I doubt that very much. Ignoring the fact that that would require so many people to not leak a word, there's not much benefit in it. It would be a better idea to capitalize on the patriotism thing while it was active.
These conspiracy theories sound much more convoluted than what sounds like the simplest explanation; they thought he was in the mountains, so they looked there. Turns out he was somewhere else.

We should be questioning things that have no clear answer for that reason; they have no clear answer. If the answer was already clear, there would be no reason to question at all, and nothing more would ever be learned. _________________

As much as I know he was a evil, horrible terrorist dude, I cringe when I see people celebrating over his death ... not because he didn't deserve it, but because it makes them look like animals.
So in short, glad he's gone, but not going to rejoice over it. _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.

therein lies the problem: as soon as you question it you get false answers you can't perceive as lies and thus believe in lies made up by others that somehow benefit from it questioning things will be a privilige again like in the times of Aristocrats. ordinary people will be bombarded with so much different information regarding the same matters that they can't comprehend it anymore. _________________

Chicken I may be a bit barbaric, but you're being really self-righteous. Calm down man; it's not that big a deal.
Edit: OMFG I saw the best thing about this entire situation ever!!!

I agree with chicken. He's dead, getting caught in the media hype and in the 'america got him, yay!' thing. Also, all jokes aside, it's one thing to be glad he's gone, another to celebrate and continue the hate bin laden had for americans. _________________ Whenever there's light, there are shadows.

If people thought that way, we wouldn't know the Earth revolves around the sun.
Just because something has an answer doesn't mean you accept it forever. You accept the most likely, rational answer until a more likely, more rational one is found. That's what science is all about; a constant learning process, examining what we thought was proven. _________________

I can celebrate that it's one less terrorist jerkwad why wants to destroy my country. Different strokes, etc.
Then again, I think it's a load of crap at this point; we're not going to release the pictures. I'd like proof that he's kicked the bucket. _________________

Eh. I don't see why people need so much "proof" ... does it matter all that much? I really won't get any satisfaction over pictures of a dead terrorist, nor do I want to see them.

"BIN LADEN IS DEA- owait, it's a guy who LOOKS like him, sorry guys "
I've seen that a few times. I'd like the proof that he finally DID go to see his 72 Virginians (no, Virginians, not Virgins) in the sky and not another case of "Whoops, it was a lookalike to throw us off again! Silly us lol!" before I believe it. _________________
