Isn't there some kind of surgery you could have on your ears so you could hear? But don't worry, hearing is overrated. Sometimes I wish I couldn't hear because of all the stuff I hear. ^^ _________________

Deathpit is deaf?
Someone said it a while back, but I thought they were making a cruel joke... Well, DP, I hear that people who have lost a sense or two compensate with the rest... You could be or already one of those 'Genius artists'.
I feel stupid saying my life is bad when I realise how fortunate I am. |

Deathpit is deaf but even tought everybody knows he hates that he doesn't talks too much about it, either coz he doesn't wants to or coz he just don't thinks about talking about it.
I have been following this kind of stuff, and if deathpit was born deaf it was probably a problem with his nervous system. Advances have been done in this area, but so far all the things I have seen about that are directly or indirectly manipulating the brain and most times I am against that primarily because it's dangerous.
All I could say, dude if you are stuck with not hearing, take advantage from it. No matter how much of a disadvantage something is, it has an advantage tought it might not outweight the disadvantage. Being deaf tought means you have to be creative to find out how to exploit being deaf. |

In my wonderful psychology class, my teacher said when one sense is hindered (or not there at all) the other senses are heightened. You might be able to see better, or smell better. And hey, if I had to be blind or deaf, I would choose to be deaf, that way I can at least enjoy the beauty of nature and life (cause I don't have to put up with hearing the stupid people) ^^ I'm sure they'll figure out something down the road, so you'll be able to hear, DP. I think that would rock. ^^ *cheers DP on* _________________

yeah, stuff being blind, I rather be deaf...
the only thing you'll hear is stupid people and beautiful music, which unfortunately is not common nowadays, just alot of fake arse singers and rappers yelling words
anyway,
if you were blind, you wouldn't be here in the first place
*always look on the bright side of life*
P.S: if Deathpit was partially deaf, he could have a earpiece which magnifies sound waves...I'd get more information if I was bothered _________________ You're just a human being, my dear, sweet child |

Here's a confession for you all to give you nightmares: I used to listen to Celine Dion when I was younger, and have an audio tape and CD from her. _________________

Usually is the sense of touch the one that improves the most. |
