I might pick this game up when I get a proper gaming PC. I was a VERY hardcore fan of the first game. I even have my Hellfire disc still around. Played the original all the way through Hell mode several times with the Sorcerer.

I'm not really a huge fan of the second game but I tried the D3 beta at a friend's place and liked it.

I decided to go with Torchlight II instead, I don't want to have to deal with Error 37 and the possibility of account hacks.

Authenticators help with the account hack problems. They don't stop them, but they're a little harder to get around.

Anyway, about halfway or so through Act 2. Wizard is 22. I love how snarky she is. Very Happy

Finished Act 1 Inferno with my wizard not long ago.

...

And still haven't had a single unique, set or recipe item drop.

How doable is inferno? I'm still on Hell...

The drop rates are incredibly low, I fear this game will be a hell of a grind...

Act 1 Inferno is similar to Act IV Hell. Act 2 Inferno, I get OHKO-d by generic creatures. Woot.

The only rpg I got into after terranigma was final fantasy 7. I played ff8 but didn't appeal to me as much and every ff that came after that was just pure crap in my opinion. since then I have been off any rpg. Each to there own view tho i have nothing against anyone if the still like ff. But my friend said the only game he rates since then was mass effect 1,2,3 so I'm going to give it a try. Also another friend of mine who is a mega diablo fan said he doesn't rate the new diablo he said they ruined it. I dont know tho I haven't played it. I found it really wierd that he said that especially being a fan.

Ha. Diablo 3 is dead, as far as I can tell, my brother (big d2 fan) stopped soon after the release. A few friends still play it for sake of the auction house, but that's about it...

I play it every so often when I want to run around and kill things, but that's about it. I know people in my WoW guild play sometimes, but not as much as WoW.

I come back every time there's a new patch out, but I haven't played for a while. New patch was really good (basically the equivalent of Diablo II Ubers), but wasn't quite enough to keep me interested for too long.

I enjoyed D3 for the first month or so, but it got repetitive and stale. Pretty disappointing considering it was one of the most anticipated games, like ever.
