Private Boards?

hey probably old, but would it be possible to the get the old forums back up?
I've got some issues that I want to talk to the family about, but I don't some random spamming shit up and laughing at my problem. I'd go PM but...its a pain in the arse and not as flowing as posting on the forums. So what say you Eddie? Let say people with more than 3 posts
or you could add specific people into the forum, whatever works...if you can't no dramas then, I'll just wait for your response and if you say no, I'll post my problem in the General Discussion board

Edit: the sooner the better, the quicker I get this problem off my chest, the more I can concentrate on my exams

I think anyone with 100+ posts, since most of the time there is little to post nowadays anyone who gets past 100 is more likely to stay anyway.

I've created a Private Board. You'll find it in the Special Boards section on the board index.

The threshold has been set to members with TerraEarth Resident status only. If a visitor is not logged in and/or not a TerraEarth Resident, the link to the board will be hidden from the index. If you're trying to be a smart-ass and copy the link while you're logged in and trying to visit it when you're logged out, you will simply get the login screen.

I'm just curious as to what constitutes a "resident". I know there's all the regulars, and I think we all know who they are, but what's the line between "member" and "resident"?

Ah, thank you! I know I don't post that much, but I visit the page everyday, so...

I think the residents are the 'family'. You know what I mean. If I say '10 foot schlong' and you get the joke, then you're a resident (Or was it the '5 foot schlong'?)

Or if you can tell all the names of the regulars, or if you were part of Jasons great story.

If under your name the title says "TerraEarth Resident", or if you're like me and eFlare, "Moderator" and "Administrator". That constitutes if you're "one of us".

Pretty much, if it looks like this (as an example):

then you're a resident and able to post in the private boards.

I think they mean ... how does a person who newly joins TEF attain the status of Resident? ... since they haven't been with through the thick and thin but at some point may need to be pushed up to resident

There's no specific post count or what ever you have to reach to become a Resident. I agree to what Blade called being part of the family. There is a curtain family thing going on with the regulars here, and that's sort of what I wanted to "treasure" as it were.

It's not like the residents are only posting in the Private Boards, it's just an extra privilege that you have as a member of the family
In the Private Boards you can discuss things you don't want the whole world to know.

I guess becoming a resident is all about trust. Whether the people on the forum trust you as a person or not.

Hm, we could make a funny game out of this..

A member who feels like 'Hey, I can be a Resident too' has to do some funny things...every resident gives them an 'quest' they have to solve (related to the 3 SB games)...like solving some questions about the games, or about the resident...

Nothing too difficult, like
'Whats Freedans favourite Smiley?'
'Whats DPits weapon called?'
'Post a screenshot of you beating Dark Gaya'

Do you get what I mean?

I think you fail to see what my intention of Residents actually are. Read the post again...slowly.
