What's your favorite version of the game? Until this week I had only played the genesis version, but I got the psp version a few days ago. It's good, but it feels off. I guess it's because the nes, snes, and genesis versions all resemble Zelda 2.

I've only ever played Y's 1 on the PSP. I need to fix that by playing more Y's.

Only Ys game I played so far is Ys III: Wanders from Ys on SNES. I'm lookin forward to new two Ys games coming to Steam later in this month soon.

If you ever get a sms copy of Ys 1 make sure you beat nightmare mode before even touching the original.

I was introduced to it on the SNES. I've also played it on PSP and PC (Steam download). The PC and PSP versions are very similar, but I have to go with the PC version.

My only real complaint on the PC is that there's no button to scroll through your accessories, which makes the last few areas a bigger pain then they should be. But playing on a bigger screen with a 360 controller more than made up for it. Smile

I've only played the SNES version, and did finish the game. I remember it being hard in that your health can be sapped in about a second if you're not careful. A pretty cool game that requires some patience.

Oath in Felghana PC is the best version IMO.
