To my knowledge we're the only country that doesnt use metric as a primary measurement. Should standard go the way of the cubit?

Metric is so much easier, except in those rare times (like in Aircraft Design) where every equation has been made specifically for arbitrary imperial units.
That being said, metric should be the go everywhere.

back on topic: id also say that a standardized system would be great. i always hate it when i read about "ft long" or "inches" and the likes. its always "google that shit, how much is that in MY currency?"

| nah. both have their uses. some things are better off in inches, the other in centimeters. and both systems equally confuse me. they attempt to teach both in school but it's barely delved into. one day they expect you to magically grasp the whole thing and wallah. |
