Well, it's a British series, so the protagonist is not full of himself in a Barney Stinson-way, and the main plots are always about helping people (in a certain time on a certain planet) in need -> also very un-American Razz

Get ahold of the series with David Tennant, he's a renowned & skilled actor.

Oh yeah blade? We turned Hugh Laurie into a genius doctor, Emma Watson into a sex godess and Michael Kaine into Batman's gay lover.

You also seem to forget we turned Patrick Stewart into a Frenchman and Tim Curry into a child eating clown. 'MERICA!

A lot of my friends seem to love it. It sounds like it'd be good at least! But yeah, pretty much VERY BRITISH.

Course, not all Brit-to-'Merica remakes do well (they're not all Elementary, I guess.) See: Red Dwarf. Hilarious from the Brits, the American pilots... not so much.

The american Office was better. Just sayin.

Still the Brits have Monty Python and that trumps all.

The American remake of Being Human is pretty good. I'm not entirely into the British version (I've only seen an episode or two) but the American version is pretty enjoyable. That and I'm a huge Sam Witwer fan.

Eeeh, I saw the British version first and I enjoyed that one a lot more. Matter of opinion, I guess.

Dr. Who is just a very well made series. I could try and convince you to watch it, but there is no point. If you enjoy scifi / fantasy of any form you will enjoy Dr Who.

Also, watch this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do-wDPoC6GM

It was pretty good when the 9th doctor and 10th doctor's actors were still on the show. 11th's run was half okay.

Then it went down hill ... because steven moffat, the head writer, kind of sucks at writing.
