Ever since the E3 2005 convention ended I wanted a load of games coming out, generally all games there look good to me even if I am not really into that genre, thoug I know games will turn out to be horrible. I am really looking forward to Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, Phantasy Star Universe, The PS3 and Revolution, Chaos theory for the DS, Metroid prime hunters for the DS, Tony Hawk's American Wasteland for the DS, Animal Crossing for the DS, Mario Kart for the DS and the list goes on and on, who here was really anticipating a game(s) coming out or what looks horrible?

General gaming forum is this way. Cool Guy

On topic, I'm mainly interested in Zelda.... if I get a DS, it'll be when stuff is cheaper and better titles come out.

Gothic 3

Its a RPG with badass-graphics, the other titles were brilliant, I really loved them, too bad they're only released in Germany and Austria...

Especially Gothic 2 was a game I'll never forget..... seriously, its close to Terranigma on my fav. games-list..., its pretty long and theres this huge In-game.feeling, cuz you can make your own desicions and stuff...

Here you can see some Gothic 3 screenshots

EDIT: hey, thats my first game-related post since a long time...wow...

None of Sony and Microsoft stuff get my attention. Only Nintendo games won most of my heart:
- GCN Nintendo games: Pokemon XD, Geist, Chibi Robo, Zelda TP, and Battalion Wars.
- Revolution & next generation games
- Game Boy Micro (I'll buy if it supports wireless connection)

PSP + Dynasty Warriors, Metal Gear Acid, Final Fantasy: Advent Children
PS3 + Devil May Cry 4, Metal Gear Solid 4 and teh new TEKKEN!!
Gamecube: Zelda: Twilight Princess
PS2: Kingdom Hearts 2, Tekken 5, Final Fantasy 12
(World of Mana sounds good, but I know nothing of it)

since Nintendo has kept their mouths shut, I've yet to decide on getting a Revolution, but if it has a Zelda game or a Final Fantasy game on it, I'll think on it Cool

FF:AC
FFXII
TLoZ:TP
KH2
Any new tekkens

and DPit, its sorta narrowminded to block out all Sony and Microsoft stuff just because they took customers away from Nintendo.

I'm a Ninty fan too, just not a fanboy. World of difference.

That being said, I can see myself buying a Revolution. A lot of people are up in arms about how Nintendo isn't including HD functionality (which would improve image resolution.... yet more whining from the graphics whores), but I'm one of the few remaining people who buys something like this for the games themselves, not because of how trendy it is.

Seems a lot of people don't want to be caught playing anything Ninty makes because they don't want to be ridiculed by their hip, trendy friends for being too "kiddy". But that's another rant for another day.

The PS3 and 360 just don't have that much that interests me. A few shoot-em-ups, from what I've seen. Not much has been announced for any of the consoles... but I know the Revolution already has the core franchises in development. They haven't disappointed me before, I doubt they will now.

Yeah, valid reasons, everyone has to go for what they like, I'm just saying that certain people shouldn't exclude it just because the company isn't Nintendo Crazy Dance (bet you can't guess who I'm talking about)

Baten Kaitos is out here

But I'm hesitant to try it since someone I know bought it 3 times and none of them worked for him, they tried it on the store cube and it worked, but that's just put me off it for now

Sounds like the problem might have been their cube, not the game. Confused
