I chose to keep this one pretty general. Alcohol is pretty diverse but there seem to be three main types of drinks: Beer, Liquor and Wine. I think there should be a fourth category just for all the wine coolers, four locos and mike's hard but not sure how to define that lol. So we'll keep it simple.
For me, I don't drink very often (I was a Mormon most of my life) but when I do, I prefer liquor, specifically vodka. Straight vodka is nasty as hell but it mixes with literally anything and I learned to make some mean mixed drinks back in the day, such that I served as the group's bartender in the day.

oooooooooooouh that's my forte!
I drink alcohol every few days and get wasted at least once a month. when I was younger I got wasted almost every weekend and didn't drink during the week - that changes around naturally with age in Germany. there will be a time when I drink too much few times a year and therefore drink alcohol every day.
I love all sorts of unmixed alcohol, white wines (sauvignon blanc, pinot gris, pinot blanc, riesling), beer of all sorts, liquor made of fruit or special roots (including brandy, excluding liqueur). basically all german drinks, the more regional the better.
I occassionally drink whiskey or wodka, and I'm willing to always taste something new.
although I literally like every alcohol, beer is my clear favorite. when I ask my wife "what do I love the most?", she responds "beer and then me". I drink it to get wasted, against thirst, because of the taste. you will almost never see me drink a coke or soda in the evening, beer always comes first as long as I can still drive.
I'm a beer conservative, I don't like the craft beer movement too much and I'm against additives in beer no matter what. beer is a food staple, it has to remain cheap and widely accessible. _________________

Aaaaaaaand here's a tea-totaller.
I have never drunk alcohol in my life, and when asked why by people I meet, I quite honestly tell them, "I can't stand the smell". Honestly, the smell of alcohol is enough to make me nauseous. If my dad goes out for a few drinks with his former workmates, I have to keep my distance when he gets home because even the smell of it on his breath makes me feel queasy.
(I also won't drink tea or coffee for a pretty similar reason, actually xD Only juices/squashes and fizzy colas for me)
(I also buy myself non-alcoholic Christmas Puddings from the supermarket at this time of year xD) _________________

I heard rumors of people like you...
in all seriousness, it's so practical to know someone who doesn't drink, so you always have a driver at hand! _________________

Yeah, there's a few of us around...I think; I've hardly ever met any like me either.
Well that would be an excellent point - except I've never learnt to drive either. xD
Problem is, the roads in London are so jammed all the time, the best modes of transport inside the M25 are public - trains and, to a lesser extent, buses. _________________

So, hey, YETI, you aren't entirely alone! _________________

I grew up Mormon. I went 20 years without drinking!
(Gives you a few seconds to realize what I said) /
Yeah, so I wasn't a great Mormon ever, lol. Even now, I don't like drinking that much, I basically only drink socially and I haven't actually gotten anywhere closed to buzzed since I was a father with the exception of a few nights when I hung out with my bro overnight.
But the other practicality of being sober most of the time. My wife is free to get drunk and she often rewards me with drunk sex for taking care of things. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Ahahah. Another one who drinks very rarely. On bad days I'll take a shot of vodka or something, but it's rare that I drink more than like, one or two of anything. The last time I had something alcoholic was... June? Yeah. Had a shot of whiskey when one of my best friends got married because he talked me into it, then they had a bunch of beers left afterward, so I had one and that was... the last time I remember that I had anything remotely with alcohol, though there may have been a Mike's Hard Lemonade in there somewhere.
Generally when I drink though, it can be stuff like beer or alcoholic lemonade, and if I go for harder alcohol it's vodka (I really like vodka) or Tuaca or something. Not a huge fan of wine, rum, or tequila. I like adding liquors to things (ice cream, coffee, etc) so there's that too. I had some really amazing Chambourd a while ago, and nnngh I miss it. Sogood. _________________
