Since no one saw it on boxxle.net (or at least commented on it *shakes fists*), I'll repost it. Note that this is just the beginning, and it is based on a dream I had that I didn't get to finish ><

In a little house, out in the middle of nowhere, there was a family. They had no neighbors, for they lived out in a field. They had their little house, and a summer house for their relatives. No visitors ever came to the house, nor was it known where they were. They lived their lives peacefully, not bothering anyone, and nobody bothering them.

The place where they lived was called Ahrea Field; the father Quinn and his wife Mita took care of the field and their son, Alex took care of the animals. But one day changed their lives forever...

It was raining, and the family had stayed inside the entire day. They had been relaxing, when there was a knock at their door. This was quite unexpected, as their relatives weren't due to show up for another few months! Quinn got up, and opened the door slowly to find out who it was that had knocked. There was a girl standing there, probably around the same age as Alex. She was soaking wet, and she looked up at Quinn with a small smile.
"May I come in to warm up? I wasn't expecting this weather at all..." She spoke softly, and then after the last word slipped from her mouth, she collapsed on to the ground.

A few hours later, the girl woke to see the family standing over her. She immediately sat up, and looked at them, and then at her surroundings. She had been brought inside, and placed under some blankets on the couch. She looked at the family again with a bit of confusion in her face.
"Wh...what happened?" Were the only words to stumble out of her. She looked up at Quinn, who was smiling.
"Don't worry now, you're safe. We brought you in from the rain, so you wouldn't catch cold out there. What in the world were you doing out there anyway?" Quinn tilted his head just a little. The girl looked down at the blankets, and shook her head.
"I don't know...I woke up, and I was outside. Before I knew it, it was raining, and I just started running. I'm not even too sure how far I ran, I knew I just had to get out of the rain; that's when I found this house."
