...and here's why.
Of course there's nothing wrong with being emotional, I mean people these days are generally insensitive, but there's a point in which it becomes just ridiculous and people avoid them because they react to the slightest things in a grotesquely exaggerated manner, thrash wildly at the would be helpers and refuses to get over it. THAT, is Emo, that's when it stops being emotional and it becomes Emo, because it shows a lack of emotional maturity. Often it's referred to as angst.
I, personally, have a big beef against such people, because :
1., They never run out of things to whine about.
2., They never stop whining innecessantly.
3., They never accept offers of help of any kind unless it's a big fat praise.
4., They never fail to drag the mood of the people around them, never.
5., God FORBID you make a joke at their expense or tell them they be wrong, because they will be all pissed off and yell at you at how you are horrible and needed a trip to the mental hospital.
...and finally...
6., My EX GF is über emo and it was quite a bad experience in the last few months we were together, really dragged my mood down. I went from happy to sad in no time flat.
So yeah, I'm allergic to emos, if they want to prove that being one isn't as bad as stereotyped, then they should please avoid proving it by complaining about the stereotypes. Whining about the stereotype is proving exactly what the stereotype says; Being easily offended and overreacting to it. _________________

I've a very strong form of ADHD that doesn't allow me to neither identify others emotions correctly nor the own ones so most of the time I'm not emotional at all. Sometimes I wish I wasn't born with it, but when I see how most ppl are being fucked up by their emos the jealousy is gone. Sure coz of that my life is extremely lonely and the chance for me finding a gf before my bones reunite with the planet is even smaller than the chance for 10 people being killed by a single, direct hit on the head from an asteroid of the size of the Empire State Building simultanously, but hey it grants the ability to think multithreaded, a load of talents, an extreme high agilty and a brain that no matter if its gonna explode still wants more intel ... so it's cool. Life's very basic though but I'm used to it. _________________ AtW Studios

Even though I've gotten back up on my feet since my ex and am dating, I can safely say that relationships are overrated.
Also, your ADHD is a mixed blessing and I'm glad that you can see the bright side of it. _________________

It's hard to value the negative effects if you have no clue what they're like in the first place . It enabled me to learn english in an instant, read tons of books about every scienctific topic that ever cought my interest, start learning C++ at the age of 11 and to make my first games when I was only 13 years old so to me it's hell of a blessing ^^. I dunno how real emos are, but that's really one of the most uninteresting topics to me right now.
The lack of a private life turned me into a hardcole workoholic and even that's good if you plan to rock your way through a business. As I allways say: We're not just part of the revolution, we ARE the revolution!
Btw I really, really, really hate everything that has to do with emos, but especially with love aso, coz it makes me feel uncomfortable and I dun like that feeling ... so I hate all those softy dudes too ^^. _________________ AtW Studios

Emo people also have bad hairdos. Also, they have crappy journal entries.
Sadly, since I'm involved in the roleplaying community (as in I roleplay online), there's a lot of emo bullshit that occurs in games. People angst over OMG THAT PERSON'S CHARACTER DIDN'T ASK MINE OUT WOE IS ME!!!
...people are just generally stupid, though. _________________

You are pretty awesome then. Keep on trucking because while emos are the type to cry over spilled milk, people like you are the type who would not only clean up the mess, but move on to design a drinking glass that can't be toppled and then spread the design all over the market.

My friends and I like to make fun of emo people.
"It's always raining in my mind!!!!"
"My soul is a black abyss of nothingness!"
"I always see people bleeding..."
and so on... _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

OMG That's awesome!
Also, gotta love it when these ingrates forget that they are well fed, have a roof to sleep under, are well cared for by the govt/state and dig tiny petty trivial problems out of their goddamn couch cushions and raise a big stink about that.
Gotta wonder though, angst is some sort of social disease that only seemed to occur in 1st world countries. I mean, since when have you seen starving filthy 3rd world kids slitting their own throats and writing emo poetry and shit like that?
I guess the old adage that hardships build character is proven true in this case. _________________

+ 1!
Depression, especially depression that leads to suicidal tendences, is a very serious disease (and if this would have been in Private Boards, I would give you an example). And seeing stupid emo kids, dragging themself down by ridiculous things, makes me damn angry.
Like they're making fun of it with the whole emogenre and the bands that make money with it.
And yes, my first nickname on TE was pretty emo too, if anyone remembers...but back then, it was only for the purpose to impress a certain girl. |

Oh yes! Seeing those fucktards make a mockery of serious life issues fills every fiber of my being with hate. Seeing twinks like these announce their suicide every week and then returning the next day or so makes me want to slap them in the face, give them a gun and yell at their faces to just shut the fuck up and kill themselves already. _________________

That was to impress a girl?
Heheh, but yeah, I remember that name. That was so damned long ago.
Hate is an emotion, doesn't make it emo. Emo is a stupid trend that deserves to die a terrible, horrible death because of what its done to this world. _________________ It's high time I revised this signature. |
