HAH! That's what I said when I saw it. Very Happy Not that Crisis Core and Wild Arms XFire wasn't a good enough reason for me. But it means I won't need to kip my bf's psp for Valkyrie Profile anymore either. XD

Yep! Now I can safely say that console ports aren't the only thing that makes a PSp worth getting. Very Happy

Call me a freak, but that's still no reason for me to pay 160 or even 200 bucks ... I mean come on it just one single game ... so if this game was the only reason for buying the PSP you theoretically pay 'round 260 bucks just for one game ... and I know ppl that freak out coz of PC Game prices allready xD.

Technically, you don't pay 260$ for a PC game, you pay 260 $ for a PC AND a game Very Happy

Dunno if it's a reason, with 200 € I'd get myself a proper mp3 Player, I just found an awesome rom site, and I usually game at home, so roms and emulators are the cheapes way for me.

It's not just one game. 8D It's a possible import of other tales of PSP games, besides, I'm getting one used. XD

Would it be possible to play N64 games on a PSP?

I mean a PSP is not that bad, you can also watch movies on it, and use it as an mp3 Player.

The main problem with the PSP for me is that I have to pay money for it, which I don't have. And + I'm not used to pay for games anymore.

But I've been thinking of getting a PS3 when it's released. I never had a PS, and I want to play the Final Fantasy series some day, and all the other games that weren't released on the N64.

I think there's an N64 emulator for the PSP that works beautifully. Aside from that, I advise against getting a PS3, Sony's PS2 was notorious for it's somewhat disappointing backwards compatibility and I'm sure you will get screwed over with the PS3.

I would have thought the lag issues on an N64 emulator would be horrible on PSP, I've got the snes one and terranigma lags.

Beside that: I can't play Terranigma on a PSP properly?? Ok, thats a good reason NOT to get one...-.-

@ Joane:I thought you can play all the PS games on a PS 2, and as far as I know, the PS3 will play PS and PS2 games too.
Why would that be disappointing?

Blade, Only different thing set PS3 and PS2 apart is built-in chips. PS2 have PS1 chip inside to play PS games. PS3 use emulator instead of PS1 and PS2 chips to cut down the prices. Emulators is not 100% perfect as backward compatibility.

Well, I don't have 600 € anyway, which it will cost after the release.

I just want to play Final Fantasy some time...everyone is talking about the series, but I've only played the first two parts which were kinda boring, never finished them.

See, I already have a PSP game (Valkyrie Profile), and I plan on getting Crisis Core once it comes out, plus Wild Arms XF if it's ever released here. Even if it's not released in North America, I can still import it and find a script online for it. The Tales of game just adds to my want for one of my own, instead of bugging my bf to borrow his. Very Happy

If you put frameskipping on 2 or so it gets a bit better. It lags in the overworld, when there's text, and i think when you go into yomi's secret raping box. Though I could very well be wrong since I haven't tried in some time. Might go and see if there's any new SNES emulators for PSP soon, but last I heard the development for it was scrapped. Neutral
