I never played Terranigma so I choose not to read it but I really think it's cool they included Terra screenshots in the fanfic. It really encourages me to read it though. |

I sayd that coz Melanie is crazy about fanfics XD
I usually don't like writing fanfics because I feel that most lack something.. there are a couple of fanfics that have been worth reading tought. Not many, but they have been some. |

Well, I thought it was mediocre... It was essentially a summary of the game from just after the vampire fight until the end. Though, the author did add a lot of original story, some rather dgood, he also left out a lot of things I thought were worthwhile. The story felt very rushed, however, and you weren't really given the opportunity to truly bond with the characters. Though, I can see the attempts at it... I think it would've been better split into chapters, taking more time to focus on the individual parts of it. I did like the unusual little touches, though, like the occassional change in font for journal entries or the hieroglyphs, and the screenshots. I just think the author could've done better if they'd taken more time... _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |

Tiga X rules! I read that fanfic. It is without a doubt the best damn IOG fanfiction ever! I reccomended it before the site changed, but no one ever listens to Jason Tandro. Right Axe? _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

I've read it. And it seems mediocre. Talk to me, people. What is it about it that makes it so awesome to you? |

Let's face it. There is no decent IoG fanfic out there. The guy's writing skill is phenomenal. He could be a future novelist. He has a gift for description, even though his dialogue is familiar. Unless there is anyone here who has written before or taken a "theory of literature"/"creative writing" course, you wouldn't be able to appreciate the story for "good writing" alone. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

I DIDN'T think it had good writing. The dialogue was bade, and the decriptive-ness was only mediocre. The person that wrote iut was not a bad writer. But, it was only typical fanfic quality. I know I could do better. In fact, I friggin' WILL! *gets to work on IoG fanfiction* _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |

THANK YOU, blazer! Now, I acknowledge that he DID do a semi-decent job of narration. SEMI-decent. And he did add two personal story arcs: the one about Lilly having beauty issues and the one about the Jackal at the bar. But neithe rof those had enough time to develop. The whole plot was just rushed. COndensing half of the game into one fanfic CAN'T be done without rushing the plot like mad. At any rate... As for my own fanfic efforts... Someone tell me where to post this stuff. Boxxleman seems to be too busy to do it at current... Bah. _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |

He made it presentable, but it doesn't matter. Can you do any better? _________________

I said I could, didn't I? Though, I kow technically, I can't outright say any writing is better than any other, but from the "standard" writing review mold, I think I can do better. At any rate, like I said in my post, someone tell me where to post (tell me fanfic.net and I'll bite you) my shizzle and I will when I get it done. My only easily-accessible writing at current is the "Hearts At Sea" fanfic hosted at Terraearth. _________________ Overwhelmed with gestalt possibilities... |
