The Dramatic Statement:

“ (Direct Statement), (Proper Noun)! (Same Direct Statement)!”

The first direct statement and proper noun are spoken at normal tempo, whereas when the statement is repeated, the tempo slows down slightly.


Examples:

- “That Wasn’t Part of the Deal of the Deal, Jonesy! That Wasn’t Part of the Deal!”
- “I’ll Never Forgive You, Allison! I’ll Never Forgive You!”
- “You’re an evil bastard, Dave! You’re an evil bastard!”


Other Forms of the Dramatic Statement
“(Direct Statement), (Proper Noun)! (Abbreviated, summated, or chopped Direct Statement)!”

In the abbreviated statement, be sure to use the most emphatic words. 3 is your magic number. Let’s look at our examples again.

Examples:

- “That wasn’t part of the deal, Jonesy! That wasn’t part!”
- “I’ll never forgive you, Allison! Never forgive you!”
- “You’re an evil bastard, Dave! An evil bastard!”


“(Direct Statement), (Replacement Noun)! (Direct or Abbreviated Statement)!”

The replacement noun becomes the key figure, so be sure to annunciate it more emphatically than your other words. Let’s look at our examples again.

Examples:

- “That wasn’t part of the deal, fuckface! That wasn’t part!”
- “I’ll never forgive you, mother fucker! Never forgive you!”
- “You’re an evil bastard, Scarecrow Dick Licker! An Evil Bastard!”
