Have you ever downloaded illegal files in Kazaa? I hope not

Well pretty much Kazaa logs all downloads with ips and the RIAA knows it. Sounds like war to me, the RIAA dudes gotta be making a party right now.

It's exactly why I don't use regular Kazaa, only Kazaa lite for unlicensed anime and movie clips. WinMX is my choice for getting music. If they wanna bitch at me for "downloading an artists songs", I can bring up the American Internet Privacy law for one, and for two, I don't download the entire album, only certain songs. They ain't gonna lose out on money for one song. They only make money on the whole CD.

Dudes Sherman Networks OWN the Kazaa network, called FastTrack, if you download stuff no matter which program you use they have it logged, heck they even know that you are using Kazaa lite, they have sued the RIAA before because the RIAA used Kazaa lite, which is considered a illegal program now, just because they connected using an illegal client and won in the court :p

It's pretty obvious that Fasttrack is a centralized network, meaning the one holding the main servers can log everything that happens, and I beleive that those are the makers of Kazaa.

Actually this is just one of several documents that seem like are going to bring Kazaa down for good. Funny thing that in their internal papers they sayd that their own employees liked kazaa-lite better because Kazaa bloated their computers!

It might be some sort of maketing scheme however.

I was once Kazaa user but I been run into serious spyware problems so I kicked out shitty program and back to Limewire Pro. Limewire had no spyware. I only use it to dl some hard-to-find roms. Sometime I run into stupid iPod ads. Those ads pissed me off seriously.

K Lite, WinMX and Torrents all i've ever used ... Torrents the only ones i used recently ... recently meaning within the last 4 or 5 months ... and that i haven't used for a few months either -_- ...

I only download mp3's and videos. But of course, if you ever were downloading software or whatever p2p would be your LAST choice if you even used it at all. I never downloaded any apps off any p2p clients.
