And I'm a PC.
What do you use? A Mac, or a PC?
Worked with both...which do you prefer, and why?
Only experienced a PC, never a Mac, why not?

Pick the question that applies to you and answer it!
Me? I'm a PC user. Why? Born and raised with it as it where. I know every trick in the trade, I use a lot of stuff that only runs on a PC, like Visual Studio (for .NET applications). I have used a Mac once or twice and I pretty much loved it. The only reason I'm not switching to a Mac is that I just bought a new screen for my PC (two actually) and my PC still works peachy.
When it's time to hand in the PC for something new I might get a Mac although I'd still have to have a PC for my job. But of course, with Mac OS X Leopard and Bootcamp I could just run Windows on my Mac.
Now all I need is some cash _________________ ... "If you doubt, you question. If you question, you understand. If you understand, you know. If you know, you want to know more. And if you want to know more... you are alive." |

"Hi, I'm a Mac. As you can see, I'm the hip, young dude."
"And I'm A PC. I'm an out-of-shape, middle aged nerd."
No hidden subtext there.
Anyway, I use a PC. No specific reason. I know more about them, so I just go with what I know. _________________

I've used both; PC since I was about 5-6 years old, and then I've used a mac for gaming (hahaha, old macs and their $80 USD games...) and then for school (mostly for photoshop and adobe photo-related applications). I like PC's for pretty much everything, but Macs do things for graphics that PC's normally can't. I'll probably get a powerbook for when I move and go to school elsewhere, however. _________________

I've used both, loved the PC, hated the Mac. _________________

Pieced together PC from junkyards and spare parts that doesn't really have a particular brand or name. I'm a PC. Never had a Mac, would try it some day given the opportunity.
I'm running Windows XP on my laptop and Ubuntu on my desktop. Feisty Fawn is wicked. |

That would be a PC XD
Anyways, thought I am a PC, I would like to be a half-breed abomination, but I don't have the money to get into the Mac world. But the times I have used the Mac, it has been sweet, no complaints at all.
I would like a Mac to get things to 'just work'. Doing art, making homework, watching movies, stuff like that. I would use the PC for testing, thought it would probably be my personal PC, stuff like programming, trying new technologies and gaming.
That being written... maybe it's better to just get an Intel Mac, and put your 'PC OS' of choice there to dual boot. |

My friend built it for free. I got two hard drives; a 19.68 GIG as a master and a 1.6 (Yes, 1.6) GIG as the slave. <<; Don't ask. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Well your PC is a relic then xD
I personally like my PC and prefer it to any MAC. I worked with MACs before, but somehow the both of us never connected. _________________ AtW Studios

When the system thinks the user is an idiot in every situation, then it's natural to not like it. _________________

And sometimes, it's the other way around; the user thinks the system is an idiot. Which is why I prefer macs to PCs; no blue screen of death. I've used both, but in my opinion, Macs work better. Which also goes without saying that I wouldn't mind using Linux either.
For a cheaper Mac option, try using the Mac mini. _________________ There is no such thing as a gay line.
