Thought I'd post a couple poems I've written recently. Tell me what you think.

Love or Lust?

Devour my soul
and make me whole
Lend me your heart
and tear me apart
Take my hand
make me harsh as sand
Show me your eyes
may my insanity rise
Kiss my cheek
the tears then leak

And as you reach
further in, further in
I can never be free
from this terrible sin
I cry and I cry
from the depths of my soul
But tears can not save me
you've devoured me whole


Life is a War

Life is a war,
and I am losing.
Life is a dream,
yours for the choosing.
Life is a pain,
seek out the catalyst.
Life is a scream,
hiding in the mist.
Life is a dance,
let it take you away.
Life is a song,
let the music stay.
Life is a fright,
just try to relax.
Life is a battle,
fight to the max.
Life is a kiss,
you must never forget.
Life is a stranger,
like no one you've met.
Life is a storm,
it will subside.
Life is a law,
you must abide.
Life is an ocean,
sometimes it's soothing.
Life is a war,
and I am losing.
