Okay, so on Facebook, my friend Josh Mitri sets his status to read "Josh Mitri is dead."
So I, being both tired and bored create a Facebook Group called "In Loving Memory of Joshua Mitri." including a picture of the status and making it very obvious that this is just a joke.
Now Josh and many other people are pissed royally at me, but a lot of the people I have talked to think that it's funny. I admit it wasn't the smartest thing to do, but was it really that bad? I mean he started it.
[Edit: In case you can't tell, they;re pissed cause several people thought he was REALLY dead.] |

There's no easy answer to this. The first being; is he suicidal? Is he in a situation where he doesn't want to live? If that's the case, it'd only be your fault if you knew he was in such a state. Otherwise, no.
If he was pulling a prank, it's his fault, in all aspects of the situation. You were going along with the joke.

It was ment as a joke, and if he's so-depressed-almost-dead he shouldn't tell it to internet people, if he's dead-because-work-is-killing-him.

I'm sorry, but it was funny. I can't look at it from any other angle really as any other seems kinda dumb. Plain and simple, you went along with a joke. If someone honestly didn't get that it was an apparent joke, that was their fault. You just joined the humor.
