Two things I would like to share with you....

1. We're back!
After being "down" for a little while, the forums are running again. Sorry about the little f'ck up there.

2. We don't have it, you do!
Because boxxleman has been very busy lately the creation of a good forum template has been delayed even more. Until he came up with this: YOU MAKE THE DESIGN!
That's right...you, the TerraEarth member(s). Anyone up for it? This is your chance to shine, make the design!

Just, give a shout when you want to take out your pencil and start drawing away (as a matter of speaking).

Will we get the basic style sheet and crap like that
if we do? Because I would do it, but I'm way too
lazy to figure out how to do the style sheet for a
forum... Neutral

Which kind of forums Boxxleman use for new TE Forums?
I kindly like vBulletin fourms. Very user-friendly. We could do it for ya if you give us some rules or things we could use to build new TE Forums for Boxxleman.
Would anyone of us care to tell what you like to put in new TE forums?

For one thing, you guys are not going to choose the board system. We are using phpBB and that's final. We're not switching systems.

Second of all, you can find millions of tutorials on how to make a template for a phpBB Forum. You might want to start at www.phpbb.com.

Please note you will need some phpBB editing knowlege first of all. You will be using this templete I have on here currently, but editing all the colors and graphics to make it it's own. I will supply the username and password to acess the forums FTP account (where you can edit everything). Whoever is willing to do it, let me know by sending me an email jeffg87@comcast.net , and I will send over the FTP information. Please note though, all transfers will be monitored by myself, and if I catch you (and trust me, I will) or anyone else uploading or doing something that could be harmful to the server, you will not only be banned on the forum but your IP will be sent to the proper authorities. Disreguard that last sentence if you don't plan to do anything but work on the forum design. Wink

I think a good part of that came from fighting with Deathpit. But not long after I signed up here, I had a week off school, so I had a lot of time on my hands. Every so often, I'd take some time and swing by, post a bit, then go back to what I was doing.
