They're supposed to improvise.... hence, artificial "intelligence". But approaching an enemy head-on when a diagonal attack is best isn't very intelligent.

When my main character isn't active in Sword of Mana, she always casts magic...even when on the grid for what she should be doing she isn't even NEAR the "Magic" part.

My other characters just get trapped on ledges and walk in to enemies. Keep killing themselves. After the 3rd time that happened, I realized I wouldn't miss them.

i haven't beaten any of the mana series  ... got sick of secret rather quickly ... almost got to the end of seiken sensetsu 3 ... almost got to the end of legend ... haven't played sword ... but i hated logic blocks with legend's golem thingys ... i didn't understand it
