Ok folks, this here will be the official thread.... please keep everything not award-related to the other threads, see if we can't keep spam to a minimum for this one.

Any questions, comments, or other award-related stuff can go here.

We probably all remember how it works, but just in case, here's the gist of it:

Votes should be PM'ed to me. You can vote for up to 3 posters for each category, but you can vote for less if you want. This time around, I'm "changing the system", so to speak.... instead of counting by votes, I'd like everyone to send me their top 3 in the order they want them. I'll be doing a "points" system this time, where the top pick gets 3 points, second gets 2 and third gets 1. That'll give it more of a "race" feel instead of everyone getting one vote/point at the same time. Might also help avoid ties more easily.

The categories are as follows:

- Most agressive poster
- Most serious poster
- Most interesting couples
- Most interesting rivals
- Coolest poster (read: most likable)
- Most annoying poster
- Most intelligent poster
- Sexiest poster (I've gotten more than one request for this one, so I'm adding it in)

And the "bonus" award, "most likely to be a 57 year old guy posing as a teen". Someone can win that as a second award if they happen to get it.

Obviously, for the "couples" and "rivals" awards, you can vote for 3 pairings of posters. If someone wins one of these "shared' awards, they can still win one of their own.... in other words, winning a shared award does not mean you can't win something else. But that's the only exception.... no winning two singles.

Again, please don't vote for yourself. Kind of defeats the purpose. It's all in fun, yes?

Like last time, you can change your votes after you send them to me (as many changes as you want), but I'm only taking one round of changes from each person. It screws up my count if people keep changing their minds. So please make sure you're voting the way you want the first time.

Remember also that EVERYONE is open for this, not just the regulars that are still here. SBF doesn't come by much, Flamez/Blade/Fixy are all off doing their own thing, but they're still perfectly eligible. Don't forget to consider them. eFlare and Boxx are in this too.

Voting will be open for ONE week this time, not two.... last time, we wound up waiting for a while with no votes coming in. If, for some reason, there are requests for an extension, I'll probably push it back. For now though, the last day to vote is March 11.

Keep in mind the change in voting systems when you send 'em to me, and best of luck to all.

Would it be easier if you actually set up polls for each award because it would be hard to do this without voting for myself *somewhere* in here.

I guess I can allow self-voting if everyone can do it. Say, for one award or so. I try to discourage it, but maybe I could allow a bit of room. If everyone agrees, you can include yourself. But if it's abused, they probably won't be counted.

I'd also rather keep the voting results from being made public if possible. Just so the results of the poll aren't looming over the members while this is going on. At the end of the week, if individual people want to know how they did or so, I'll be keeping close track of it.

Just a notice: Since dark knight asked for no spam (or as little as possible), just know that anything completely unrelated (aka spam that's completely unrelated) will be baleeted. Just a warning.

nah ... do we have to vote? ... because i think if i voted i would just vote for random crap since i can't think of any ... cept for maybe most aggressive ... so it would sorta defeat the purpose if i voted ...

You can vote for as many or as few of them as you want. If you don't want to vote for any, you don't have to.

It'd be cool if you could though, maybe after giving it some thought.... after all, you should know us all by now, and what kind of posters we are.... and this isn't exactly a big place, so all the votes could count for quite a bit.

Give it a bit of time, think it over, and vote later in the week.

I submitted mine, too... although the "Most Unoriginal Name of 2005" award didn't appear. I would've voted myself for that one (Even though you can't vote for yourself) I'll shut up now =D
