Too easy for me to answer.

1. Guy (the hand) want something to wipe his butt so you give him a title deed or letter. He will give you a piece of heart for reward. You had to get needed items from other people.

2. Use the mask to keep Gorman bros at bay during Cremia's milk run to town.

3. Help him? No. Just talk and give him a Kafei's letter. You had to complete three-days task to do it.

I Know you talk to the curiosity shop guy where you meet Kafei but you need to do something after that, the notebook has a blue spot where something should happen in that time.

After you talk to the Curiosity shop guy where Kafei used to be, all that's left is to meet Kafei at Ikana Canyon.

The blue spot you're seeing is probably where you can do one of two things.... either take the priority mail to Kafei's mother in the milk bar (to get a bottle of Chateau Romani.... but more importantly, the empty bottle), or give it to the mailman at the post office and let him deliver it to her. You'll get the postman's hat from him, which lets you look in to the town's post boxes.... your main reward for that is a piece of heart (and the hat itself, which is another mask).

Both of those have to be done on the final night.

So if you wanna get both rewards, you'll have to do the whole Kafei quest twice.

I can't play that game. On the final night I get freaked out that the moon's gonna fall on me and kill me. I saw what happens when the moon crushes you (just for fun), and it freaked me out.

Did you deliver the Pendant of Memories to Anju at the inn on night of second day or morning of third day?

To USHHG:
The final task for the Curiosity Shop man is to buy the All-Night Mask which lets you stay awake through Grandma's stories (getting you two pieces of heart). He sells it during those periods that are blue on the chart you questioned about. I think it's 500 rupies (but it may be 300).
