Let's start off by mixing the gameplay styles of Shenmue and .hack (where you could go online in your "Shenmue" world and really have message boards and online games).
Then add a Create your Character/ Create a Level from THUG2.
The combat system should combine Xenosaga and Wild Arms 3.
The graphics and storyline should be comparable to Final Fantasy.
The music should be on the par with Final Fantasy.
You should have at your disposal a time machine, motorcycle, skateboard, invisibility device and a girl/boy friend.
No building should be unenterable and there should be dozens of hidden items by going into each building. There should be places to have shoot-em ups, races and sports mini-games (skateboarding included), but the gameplay is still essentially RPG, and there should be a way in the game to earn money, like the Sims.
Also, there has to be some sort of flying or at least gliding level or cheat code that can be used in the main world.
Basically a large city where anything can happen. That's my ideal game.
PS: Time and Date functions like Shenmue and Weather effects like MGS3. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Well, see, I like the ideas of "Atelier Iris" too. You can create items with recipes, and you can extract certain elements from enemies and stuff.
Oh, and don't forget adding silly easter eggs.
And I don't think the soundtrack should be composed by just ONE person. No, it should be a collaboration with the good composers: Nobuo Uematsu, Yasunori Mitsuda, Yoko Shimamura, Yuki Kajiura, Iwadare (can't remember his first name for the life of me ^^), Motoi Sakuraba, and of course, our own Joan Michele. Can you image a soundtrack composed by those people?! _________________

Of course. ^^ When I'm a big-time animator, you'll compose the music for my stuff, right? _________________

teh wack
i think what makes a game special, is teh stuff around the gameline, story or plot, interactivity and art (grafics, music etc etc)
personally i'd like to see a high detailed, interactive MMORPG =)
and more real time stuff, it juz CANT always be sunny! _________________ Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice. |

In FFXI, depending on where you go, the weather changes. The areas around the main cities stay the same, but once you leave, the weather can change. _________________

Well jeez, the ideal cast would be you guys. Imagine a TE Universe with the set ideas. Couple a questions.
1) Why must I die Axe?
2) Why does Muerte think I also must die?
3) Joan writes music? Kikas! I want to hear!
4) Joan cannot have her own pole dancing FMV, no matter what.
5) Raini is right, as usual, that there should be a collaborative soundtrack and yes, Raini is my animator! Her concept art would sell a million copies before the game was even made! _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

So far our storyline is I die, Rainichan is a damsel in distress whom freedan saves, and Axe and Muerte are (I so wanna say "bitch slaves") monsters.
Joan is a musician by day, pole dancer by night and fox all around (which brings up the question, should she be equipped with a bear trap or something? You all probably don't get that joke).
eFlare is like a dude version of Althena from Lunar 2 (sorry for the potential insult).
Hmm. This is good. We could reuse A4E, but I think that'd be going a bit far.
