And now because of this, it was Hilary Clinton that was fronting the whole thing against Rockstar. Now she's getting all the people in Congress and such to do two things:
1) Make it a fineable offence if someone sells an M rated game (or and AO (adults only) game to a minor (kinda like how they would be fined for selling alcohol to a minor)
AND
2) The government will have a say what goes into games from now on. Can you imagine it? "WE LOVE (vote for Bush) KATAMARI!"
But seriously, San Andreas already HAD a mature rating. If the places that sell games like that wouldn't let kids who are OBVIOUSLY too young to buy those games... NOT buy those games, then ZOMG! Maybe this wouldn't have happened. And if stupid parents wouldn't buy obviously rated "M" games for their 10 year old kids, they wouldn't be complaining. Like was said in my GI that I got today...
Quote: | A European study found that a majority of parents are aware of video game ratings, but "divorce themselves" from deciding what thei children play, even though the paren'ts don't like what games they buy. Great to know hypocrisy rules the angry mob. |

It's just another case of poor parenting / bad store management / rich politicians prattling on about something they don't understand.
I don't know why these people can't understand that the ratings are there for a reason. It's not the developer's fault if a 10 year old kid buys their game. It says on the cover that it's not meant for them.
And people like Hilary Clinton really need to stop with the whole "doing it for the children" BS. That's not their real concern, they just need something to do. _________________

Don't forget, she does beat on him, and word of mouth says she's a lesbian anyway.
Why else would she stay with her man even after the whole Monica Lewinski scandal?
Eh, who knows, but then again, what some said on the topic of "The ratings are there for a reason," I guarantee game makers don't care who buys their games. I mean, I've been buying mature games since I was 11, so in reality, alot of game stores don't even bother asking anymore, they want the sales. Except my Gamestop. The guys there are actually pretty cool. They recommended my brother to buy a game that was half the price of the one he was going to buy.

NO FLIPPIN WAY.
That's not fair! They don't do that for movies!
They are ruining it for everyone just because half of the American population of parents won't check the games' ESRB rating before they give it to their kids.
I feel like I am in China. Next they will be censoring google searches like China does. Before, I just though Hilary was trying to raise awareness about the game rating system but this is crazy. This can't be real.

Oh no. It's real alright. The good people on Attack of the Show was the one who mentioned it (it was on The Feed). They want the government to get involved with the games so this doesn't happen again. Either way, I'm not voting for her in 2008. I'll boycott the hell out of her. _________________

In other news, Hilary Clinton is now spending millions of taxpayer dollars to launch another investigation against the creators of the modern alphabet, since the letters can be rearranged to make dirty words.... like "butt", or other variations of the word butt, like "bum" and "anus". And it's our duty as responsible citizens to protect the children from such smut.
Hilary Clinton is on 24-hour PMS and needs to get bent. _________________
