I'm quite curious about this issue. What are your thoughts on the fandom? What is your perception on the definition of being one, how the fandom works? Why do you think it had a boom of popularity when Telnet and Internet is invented? How many do you know who happen to be in the fandom? What do you think of them? How are your opinions and perceptions of the fandom affected by them? There are many other questions but I wanna get these out of the way first.

Secondly, what is your definition of art? What defines art for your opinion? Do you consider Anthropomorphic drawings to be art? What about erotic anthro art?

Could you give an example about Furries? Or Furry-fandom.

Art, as in pictures/paintings? Thats simple, I can't see it...I look at a picture, and I like to look at it, or I dont like to look at it. Easy. But the definition of art is sth different, I think.

Art in music, however, is something different...you can HEAR the emo
tions that are delivered...at least for me, this kind of art is easier to access.

Art in erotic pictures? Shure.
Art in erotic anthropomorphic (erotic) pictures? Its always in the eye of the beholder, I don't "like" it, not my cup of coffee.

Well, answering simply here cause I'm rather tired. I have nothing for or against furry art, whether it be erotic or not. Doesn't particularly interest me and doesn't send me into a fury, but then nothing seems to for me anyway.

Art is definately a tricky thing to describe. I would say anything from the most plain stick figures to a masterpiece on canvas could be considered art. Its just an individuals perception on how good it is. Whether erotic or not, anthro, or whatever else, it is still art if that is what is intended.

I dunno, thats the best way I can try to answer, perhaps if I get more time later on to think on it more I can say something more definitive.

The initial intention I think is the main thing. If they intended it for people just to jerk off to then a simple answer. If its unknown what the creater intended then its up the the individual viewer.

i dont think im as far as that one is, but i do think art is an expression you can hardly define... painting, music, talking, dressing, fighting (martial ART?) ... maybe even walking? XD

but i guess art has always something to do with creativity and creativity IS unique to everyone (as long as you aint such an emo guy like those on the drawing )
