Story behind your avatars

Let's here the story behind your avatars. I find that I always tend to see people on a forum for what their avatar looks like. I sort of identify each person with the avatar that comes with the post. I can only assume that I'm not alone in this, because I have no idea.

Why did you pick the avatar you have right now? What's the thought behind it? People without avatars are of course welcome to read this topic, be quiet and pick and avatar.

Me, the eyes in my avatar belong to Yagami Light¹ from the manga Death Note. Why? Because... he's... me. I've been reading the manga and watching the anime and have to say I relate to this guy in way to many freaky ways. Next to that, I'm just a hardcore Death Note fan.

This ava is...me! ...at least me, one year ago
Back then I had long hair, and I was totally into Metal and everything...well, I still like the music, but I think I put it onto a new, more mature level...

...well my ava, it's created with the planearium Southpark generator, and, yeah, it show me, how I see myself and everything.

It even has a guitar and spikes, though I don't play that much guitar anymore, and I've sold my spikes.

In other forums I have RL pictures of me as avatars, so, with my avatar I usually want to portray myself.

Um... basically speaking I'm a staff-lance-spear type fighter person (in RP and in real-life) and I wanted to find something appropriate, but with the ava size restriction, this is the best I could do. My original Ava was Sephiroth. That was kikas. brings me back... and for the longest time I had King Edward and then a crossbow... what else... I used Jet Enduro from Wild Arms 3 a time or two and Otacon from MGS.

I don't know why I picked it. I think it went well with my sig. Of course, when the sig gets changed, so will the avatar. :/ Probably into something I made myself.

I did have one of a Cadet infront of the clock with no hands in the Terranigma intro before the forums crashed. I had that because 'Cadet' was my rank at the time (And now I am but a single Huball).

Guess it's time to look for a Huball.

I got mine a looooong time ago.

Its Claud from Star Ocean: Second Story. Ironically i never ever played the game, but back when i got this it looked kinda like i did only cooler and perhaps more the way i wanted to look aswell.

Over these many years i never had the heart to change it. It is as they say, old habbits die hard. On completely unrelated subject, someones car as caugth fire in quite a mysterious fashion.

Well, I think I explained this years ago, but it's something I did for a story I wrote four years ago, a Fan Fiction crossover between Psycho and Friday the 13th. I guess you could say it's sort of ironic, in that beneath the attractive man is the dark, evil monster that represented his soul.
