In 1980, Nintendo released the unstoppable hit Donkey Kong, bringing with it the man who would later become known as Super Mario. However, DK was not Nintendo's first game.

I'm sorry I'm way late in answering (I haven't been around much lately) but it depends. I'm not sure the first "Video Game" Nintendo released domestically. I'd probably guess "Mario Brothers," but I could be wrong. (Not Super Mario Bros., but the original, non-side scrolling game) Nintendo also, before getting into electronics- made all kinds of card games, just the names I'm not too sure of.

A good guess. Mario Bros was actually made in 1983 after Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr.

But Nintendo's first game, made in 1980, was a little known, and never re-released little piece of crap called Radar Scope. It was a space-shooting game.
