What are these "Terranigma 2" pictures located in the Gallery. (I would post a link but I cant)
It looks like Terranigma but made with RPG maker. Can anyone explain?
Thanks. _________________

A while ago we had a member who was working on his own fan created Terranigma version. He posted some pictures to the gallery.
The original topic about the game was lost during a database crash but the images were recovered. _________________ ... "If you doubt, you question. If you question, you understand. If you understand, you know. If you know, you want to know more. And if you want to know more... you are alive." |

Rule 1: Whenever a fangame gets announced on a message board, the project will be dead before the release.

Very true comrade. Would-be remakers should first gauge the sweat and blood needed to create a remake. With hearts beaming with inspiration, they tend to avoid this "important" first step. As a result, they waste their time and leave their dump next to the line of cancelled remakes.
Before starting any remake, people should first think about how the original developers created terranigma. They didn't just have sweat and blood, they had money and people. Game producing is much, MUCH harder than as it seems. _________________ As an Alien for 500 years, it is by my humble opinion, that humans are stupid.

If someone is interested in getting to know how hard it really is, just ask me ^^. Being a game designer and thus a game developer I guess I'm qualified to answer such questions ^^. _________________ AtW Studios

i tried making a terranigma sequel once... it was really dodgy, made in rpgmaker 2003. had a decent storyline that wasnt expanded on at all, so it remains just a 'do this, do that' game. 3-4 hours of average gameplay with cameo appearances from 2 of my friends. yay!
(i did finish it, and if anyone really wants to see the quality of a rpg-maker project made by a 15 year old (i think thats how old it is, been a few years) i can dig it up and upload it.
(if anyone has any complaints as to where i posted this, i can move it to a more appropriate topic) _________________

Is it called Auroras Tear by any chance?
It'd be awesome to play some well-made rpgmaker-games, most of them are just betas, good ideas at one point, but halfassed made.
Note: I too tried to make a game on it some time ago, but I tihnk it's too much for 1 person to make a decent game on ones own... |
