Anyone getting or has got these games? I'm getting the Orange Box(Half Life 2, HL2 Ep. 1, HL2 Ep. 2, Portal, Team Fortress) soon hopefully.
Just wondering.

I got myself the Christmas edition...why the didn't they add CS:Source in any of those packages??
Halo-series is pure hype, imo, played half of the first game, didn't move me alot. (And no, please don't say "aaah you have to play it entirely to get it! and 2/3 is wayyy better!") |

I got Halo 3 Legendary. And no, you don't have to play the entire game to get it, though it did take me a few hours to really start liking it. The control scheme is what really caught me. It's seamless and incredible. It's just a fun game, but it's not for everyone. Personally, I'm more excited about Smash Bros Brawl than Halo 3.
Actually, I like the first Halo best. It's simple and sweet.

Christmas Edition? I don't know if we are on the same page here but CS:Source does come with it, just not on the Xbox 360 version. CS:Source comes with HL 2.
If you played Halo today you probably wouldn't like it. But if you played it when it came out you would have seen how great of a game it was.

Well I played it when it came out, and it simply didn't appeal to me. It wasn't extremely difficult nor easy.
And I just checked: HL2: Christmas edition came with Half Life 2, Episode 1, and Half Life 1: source. No CS: Source 
I also just tried to install it, but they want me to pay 20 $ ... |

Not really interested in Halo games because of Microsoft Xbox 360s hardware issuses and cursing noobs.
Im happy with Runescape and Nintendo Wii/DS. I just got Front Mission for DS now. |

Yeah, the hardware issues on the 360 totally bite (although, I got lucky with mine, no problems to date). But at least Microsoft has been listening to gamers complaints. Unlike Sony, who think they know everything, and Nintendo who are so busy trying to please non-gamers and casual gamers, they've forgotten their loyal fans.

portal was nice, although it was pretty short and not THAT tricky at all... started it in the afternoon, finished it late night...

Ok, I got to admit, RuneScape is one awesome game. I also have a Nintendo DS, with only three games. Yeah, I know, I don't got that much.
About Halo 3:
I like the game very well, even though I've only played it once, and another thing I have to say: I suck at the game.
