No joke, and chances are everyone here knows; actor Heath Ledger (A Knight's Tale, Brokeback Mountain, 10 Things I Hate About You) was found dead in his New York apartment. He was just 28 years old. The only other information is that he was found naked in bed surrounded by sleeping pills. He had just finished his role as the Joker in the Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight.
RIP Heath.

I already talked about this on another forum...
It's sad news, thought I never was a big fan of his movies (thought "The Dark Knight" sounds promising).
I mean, he was only 28 years old! This is what drug abuse, fame, depression etc. does to you...it's a sad example... |

Actually, he wasn't on any drugs. The only thing he was taking was Ambien (a sleeping pill) which is prescribed to someone. The most he did (and it tapered off once he had a child) was smoke and drink.
Though, it's still sad.  I heard that playing The Joker in the new Batman movie really fucked up his mind.

Wow. That sounds like his role in the movie is going to be amazing. I know that sounds horrible, but if playing the role really affected him, it will most likely show.

| I watched this on the TV Guide channel, and heard that he will be remembered, because he was such a great actor...I don't know, something like that. That's too bad. |
