Well, there is a game related to Illusion of Gaia: "The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past."
I have only made it to the dark palace in the dark world, and I think it's very much related to Illusion of Gaia. |

I wouldn't say Zelda - A Link to the Past is that much related to Illusion of Gaia/Time or the other games of the trilogy, since it has no experiencesystem.
But it's also a 2D action/hack&slay RP game.
But ALttP is an awesome game, they do have this point in common  |

Vagrant story plays nothing like Illusion of Gaia. That being said Vagrant Story is a superb game non-the-less
