assassins creed

well, today is the official release date of assassins creed for pc

anyone already played it on the xbox or illegally downloaded it for the pc?

i played the "pre-version" with the first 4 lvls. i think it sucks. first you need a high-end-megacomputer to play it. second is, this game tries to be so cool with its many possibilities to kill and hide and such, but while playing you get the image of a parcour-jump'n'run along with hide and seek. you always have to be under cover, but the methods to stay under cover are just... weird.

i mean, hey the guards spotted me, wtf damn, i just walked against somebody and the pot he was carrying fell on the ground, but no problem, sitting on a park bench !between two people (IMPORTANT)! makes you go to stealth. even if the guard just stands in front of you. well, nobody except me is armed to the teeth and is wearing a bleach white templer cloak, but who cares.

My bf has this for the xbox. He was showing me how it plays, it's pretty cool, though I wouldn't play it. I'm not an xbox sort of person.

@psychokind: i am so thinking the opposite way this is the greatest game ive ever played (maybe just cause im totally into free-running and parcours)

@raini: yea, i also dont like the xbox... actually, i dont like any platform except PC Oô

the free-running and parcours in the game is the best thing! and it looks really nice jumping from roof to roof and such. but i thought this game was sth about assassinating, and concerning this it really sucks hard^^

nah, not really... actually, you could kill anybody if you want the fighting system lets you perform stealth-kills as well as sword fights with like 8 guards or something

ok, the straw-thing is very strange think about jumping off a building and landing into a kind of wagon filled with straw but NOTHING happens, not even the wagon breaks, neither one of your bones... it made me laugh the first time i did it

ive heard a little about this game. sounds rather fun, although cant say its my kind of game.

also seems to be lacking in realism, which can be a point of humour (ie as chicken said, jumping off a building and not even getting hurt). im also sure theres a way to stab someone and 'cloak' under the body to make yourself (and the body) curiously unnoticeable
