I guess one of the reasons I don't have a cell is because I have to pay so much money for school.
No park bench hacking for more - I spend lots of time trying to hack away at impossible integrals and I'm currently designing a web system that becomes conscious of the state of internet data to build its own menus and titling systm.
Oh, and I also enjoy playing Zrogue hahahah gotta love CS. |

Gas prices where I am: nearing $4USD for a gallon. It's about... $3.89USD for a gallon of gas right now. Expensive for me.
Anyways. I got my first cell phone... hm, back when they were practically bricks. You could bludgeon someone with it. I got an updated tiny one (without a colour screen)... sometime in 2000-2001, I think, and I got a newer flip phone a couple years ago (2006ish, I think). I can hang all of my phone charms off of it, which is all I really care about.
...and I have a lot of phone charms.
there's a couple you can't see on it, too. _________________

now that's interesting! cellphones are like cars, they somewhat represent the personality of the owner... i'd like to see your cell phones
well, i shall begin:
the real phone is smaller than the one on the picture |

I think it's part of chickens personality if he doesn't care
I don't think he >makes shure< it doesn't fit him.
I for myself like things that are usefull & look good, but these things don't need a certain price-tag.
If a watch looks good and I can afford it, I'd go for it.
Cellphones are not so important to me, mine was for free due to the phone-contract. Its still neat and has some stuff to play around with (camera f.ex.)
Right now, I have a shitty Opel Vectra as a car, 15 years old, its rusty as fuck. But I'm getting a new-new one thanks to my grandpa, I'll pay ~ 2000 € on my own for some extras.
But if he wouldn't buy me a new one, I'd keep the Opel.
I kinda greed people who need expensive stuff to feel better with a smile, but people who are totally non-comformist (= those who MAKE SHURE to stay away from such things and detest them with a passion) are kinda embarrassing.
It's up to everyone if you see sth. like a watch or a car or a cellphone as a statussymbol or a thing you simply use. It also depends on your burse . |

i dont make sure that stuff does not fit me, you got me wrong there... its just that i dont think a cellphone represents you... a car maybe cause most of the guys that drive BMWs or AUDIs are roadhogs XD
the things that really represent you and what you stand for is your clothing style and your leisure activities/sports _________________

i agree, but cars are often limited by money, and clothing can give the wrong impressions if one is bound by official or unofficial dresscodes (like at my university). cell phones are extremely cheap because of the contracts, and have a variety almost like clothing. |

i find mobile phones are getting to the point where its not a phone per se. just an all-in-one electronic... thing
in response to seeing one of my friends' new phone (with a 5megapixel camera), another friend of mine said "well... its a camera with a built-in phone function" _________________

i dont think the iPhone is worth it. the novelty of having youtube in your pocket kinda wears off, and then its just a fat phone you have to pay for continuously (not even counting the expensive plans and such) _________________

I want more than just phone so I can get PDA or smartphone to help me such as keep notes, shopping lists, GPS, and some games to kill the time. I also need it to text messaging and use relay services to make calls since I am hearing-impaired.
If you want plain cellphone, just have regular cellphone.
