It's something I've been wondering for a while. Are Residents the same thing as Moderators? I'm not sure.  |

no, residents are kinda part of the TE family, members who have been here quite a long time and stayed active as well...
everyone can become a resident, theoretically, you only need 500 posts (i think) and then there'll be a kind of poll in the private board (a hidden section at TE) if you are worth a resident or not 
oh and you recieve the ultimate powers to crush all your enemies, but thats just a nasty side effect ^^

Actually, what happened was that the site had crashed at one point, and we lost from roughly November 2005 to like July of 07- where a brunt of my posts had been. I'd actually reached the 1000 mark at one point, but all that had been unfortunately lost. If you notice, when going back to older topics, there aren't any from that period.
