Nightwish - Tarja or Anette?

I gotta be honest. Until I read your post and found out that Nightwish is a band, I thought it was a cryptic message asking who you would rather sleep with, some random girl named Tarja or another random girl named Anette.

I'ma look some Nightwish music up now.

Okay, I have to say this because I've been listening to alot of Nightwish lately and have been comparing Tarja and Anette. And, truthfully, I can't figure out why everyone likes Tarja so much.

I mean, yeah, her voice has a unique quality to it. It's deep and strong, which is good for that genre of music, but her live performances are terrible. Granted, it may just be me (I do really like pop artists) but Anette seems to be not only a much better singer, but a better stage performer as well. I imagine if you're accustomed to hearing Tarja, Anette would seem out of place, but I have to say, she sounds much, much better.

i find some of their new stuff to be too pop-ish. tarja's voice was getting very annoying though, and i do like anette better as a singer. ive heard anette sing their old stuff (saw em live this year ) and she definitely does a better job on some songs than tarja.
