What different languages can you all speak. I know we have folks from all around the world, and a bunch in Europe, so I imagine this is a pretty dumb question, but I'm just curious.
Yours truly can speak some conversational Spanish and a bit of Japanese.
Example of my spanish:
Hablo Espaniol. No hablo mucho, porque en escuela la profesora siempre diges: "Escucha me! Escucha me!" Y no eschuchabo.
I am pretty sure there are more than a couple of problems with that. I haven't written Spanish in forever.
Example of my japanese:
Chotto nihongo wakarimas. Sumimasen, Jason Tandro baka amerikaijin desu.
I also know:
Eki doko desu ka?
Because in Tokyo I had to ask that a LOT.
I learned the phrase "baka nagaijin" (stupid foreigner) from my brother, who told me that he would always get drunk on the subway and swing from the bars singing in a booming voice (to the tune of La Cucaracha no less) "Baka nagaijin! Baka nagaijin!" _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

german and english, I can understand french if someone speaks slowly, but since frenchmen have no regards for foreigners this won't be needed anyway. I'm very lucky france is not an possible employer anymore _________________

I speak english, german, a bit of spanish, a tad of latin and italian and know some words of japanese and chinese . There's just one language I'll try to avoid having to learn for the remainder of my life: french xD.
Btw does anyone of you know some games with good spanish localizations? Playing games is always a nice way of getting familiar with a new language. _________________ AtW Studios

I speak a bit of broken French (my pronunciation is even good, I just don't know much), and even less Spanish. I'm able to read a fair bit of both... even manage to decipher some if I'm not sure what it says.... but I don't speak well.
I wouldn't mind learning Italian. _________________

... Nitpicking (since I speak it), that "wakarimas" should have a 'u' at the end since there is no single letter syllables in Japanese save for 'n'. Sorry. D: And I think it should be Amerikajin, no 'i' in there. /nitpick
As for myself, I can speak Japanese, Russian, and French. Currently want to learn Dutch, Chinese, and anything else that crosses my mind that sounds fun. (and yes Flare, I still remember how to say "Just die, ok?" in Dutch. I say it often.) _________________

I'd suggest that too. Japan is nowhere as important as it was in the 90's, and on long-terms Russia will be an important language. Mid-terms should be chinese, but only as long as there are enough raw materials. after that chinese will only be needed to know when they are attacking their neighbour countries _________________

Pretty much just English. I took Spanish in high school, but I've also slept alot since then...
I tried to learn Japanese in college, but the class wasn't set up very well, so I had to drop it. Which is fine, I don't think anyone that stayed passed anyway. _________________
