          | Which PS emulator do you use? I can't find a good one, nor can I find a reliable source of games.
 Help a brother out.

 Incidentally, downloading the screenshots.

          | ePSXe is your best bet, so long as you don't mind hunting down the BIOS file and decent card files (the standard sound card file sucks ass). _________________

          | haven't got a PS1 emulator so it'll be good to have, even though i'll probably only get one or two games for it, if anyone's interested i got a PS2 emulator, it's a bitch to get working well and they haven't got it to work for all games but it's better than nothing, i got it because i didn't have any money to get disgaea 2 and i really wanted to play it | |

          | ps2 emulator? awesome. that means i can play ffx ^^
i have a working ps1 emulator (ePSXe, as Jason said, is the best one), and it works fine, even has a controller plugin so i can use my game pad for authenticity. only difference is that i get save states, i guess

          | yeah, but it's kind of annoying, but if you want it then search for Pcsx2, it comes with a compatibility list, they still have a lot of things to iron out in order for it to work for all PS2 games, if your game is supported then you'll have to find an ISO and a virtual CD/DVD drive, if you aren't familier with anything of that kind then might i suggest Daemon tools lite. but if your game isn't supported you could try a different PS2 emulator, i haven't tried any others but they might be better, or they might be worse.
last note, if you do get this and you are only running a dual core with a poor graphics card then you might wanna close down all other programs before you play anything, it uses a lot of your CPU.

make sure to fiddle with the options until you find the best configuration
