yes, this is posted in the general gaming section on purpose!
i stumbled over this game called "the last remnant" and i checked it out, just to see a slightly BIG resemblence to FF... ok, the battle system is actually more than awesome but still it reminds me a lot to FF...
anyone know this game and has played it already?

The Last Remnant is part of a series of Xbox 360 JRPGs made by the various teams behind the Final Fantasy series. Unfortunately, most of them have been received rather poorly. I hear the PC version of Last Remnant is alot better though...
Anyway, the other games are Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey, and Blue Dragon. The latter two were made by Mistwalker Co., which was founded by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi.
