"Music Is A Weapon" Tournament- Discussion

Okay guys, in looking for new interesting concepts, I have decided to up the ante for next months tournament.

On June 19, 2009 (my little sister's 19th birthday ) I will begin a brand new tournament concept.

All your weapons and skills will be musical. Thrash each other in a Woodstock environment, beat each other over the head with guitars, larger than life drumsticks, and so forth.

Oh, and let's not forget the real capper. The first place winner will recieve a $25 iTunes Giftcard!

In every other way, it will be an ordinary Battle Royale style punch-up. Field and environment factors will change based on the whim of judges, and you're still susceptible to all the elements and status criteria of any other RP Punch-Up. It will just have a nice musical theme to it. So what do you think?

Wow, Jason, that's my little sister's birthday too. Except my sister will be 13.

so the only thing that changes is that we aint fighthing with axes, swords, summons and what-so-ever but guitars, drumsticks, percussions, etc?

Basically, but there will be other changes as appropriate involving setting and so forth. It's also the first Punch-Up to have a "real-world" prize.

this would be so awesome if damage and durations were determined by the tempo, instruments and overall style of a song used to perform an attack.


e.g.
something fast like metal would do a lot of damage quickly
something like classical would lower the damage of opponents (soothes them)

etc. cant really think of what to put to other forms of music. but that would be awesome
