look over your notes. like, the easy stuff
if you know it, you feel good about yourself, and calm down a bit.
if you dont know it, you have every reason to be nervous
but i find either that, or loud music + being lazy is a nice distraction from exam stress _________________

i dont know. im usually not that nervous before exams. if i am, depending on how far away the exam is, ill either study or chill out
if its close (hour or 2), i wont touch any material, as i wont be able to cram anything. i spend the time relaxing - not gaming, i might add, coz that tires you out
if theres a day or so, study for it. it is a good distraction, even if it is the subject _________________

Rule of thumb: Relaxing before your exams is a wasted effort unless you don't give a shit about them.
Even a person who knows there stuff will still get nervous. So, knowing that you're gonna be nervous, just ride it out and know that it will all be over soon.
Yours truly is a complacent son of a bitch, so exams don't really bother me. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

well if its a hour before, id rather relax than look through notes and stress out about small details that i may or may not need to know
ive found it works for me _________________

We're not talking about the physical act of relaxing, but rather the mental state of calmness and clarity. My mind runs a mile a minute and still goes nowhere. Probably explains why I got on these boards! _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

same here (...sorta) except my mind runs a mile a minute in several different directions so i would like to know how to get my head straight... in the mental sense, not literally straight |

if your exam is oral, its not that hard if you dont know that much... talking about ANYTHING is way easier than writing about anything... at written exams, you cannot dodge questions that good and cannot talk your way around a real answer ^^
trust me, there was a 4-day-seminar i attended called "how to talk about nothing" helped me out at my final exam at school ("matura") _________________

Well, as someone who's mind also travels in multiple directions simultaneously, I find the best way to relax under stress is to distract myself completely. Personally, I like to play Solitare or Tetris. Or look at pictures of breasts. You know... whatever... _________________

last exam I did, I did no prior study... I beat 86% of the people who took it, and it got me into uni _________________
