Lurking

Hey, just out of curiosity. How many of you come on the boards, post a few posts and then leave and how many of you lurk on TE for more than a half-hour?

I am guilty of the latter most of the time.

I typically lurk. If I'm busy I'll just pop on and post, though.

I have my "route" when going to the PC, StudiVZ & SchülerVZ, realmforum, youtube subscriptions, WKW and TerraEarth.

so I don't lurk I read all the new posts and post myself.

I don't lurk for long, but I lurk often. I check the boards several times a day (how sad is that?), see if there's anything new, and if I see a thread I can add to (that is, not just posting for the sake of posting), I'll post.

I used to post more often with one-liners and stuff, but I've stopped doing that. Now, I tend to post only when I have something worthwhile to say (which generally isn't nearly as often... hence, my occasional few days at a time without posting).

I post pretty often, so I am no lurker. though I scout every few hours for any new posts.

The forums is my homepage, actually. So anytime I start up Firefox? Yep, I end up here. Of course, until I restart my laptop, my computer just goes to sleep while I sleep/at work/not here, so Firefox is constantly open when my computer wakes back up. I'll refresh the page though, and look around to make sure nothing needs my attention.

Years ago, I used to lurk and post alot; back then I visited the site ~ 10 times a day!

Nowadays I'm trying to cut that back, so I end up with ~ 3-4 hits per day. Too bad I can't think of anything good to post most of the time

usually i just read new posts, respond where i have something to add, and then close the window. sometimes i just leave it open and forget about it until i return to the comp.


i do this a couple of times every hour when im on, because im usually bored enough to check things repeatedly for updates

depends on the day... if there is a lot to do, i'll hit the page like 1-2 times, if its a day with not too much work, i'm coming here more often... yea, i lurk a lot, i read almost everything and post only if really necessary =/
