I had such high hopes for that series too, but they clearly aimed it at a younger audience. At least it was passable as a Final Fantasy, but I still think any thing that rips us back into the real world (which was present in Tokyo) defeats the purpose of Final Fantasy.

I want to see some FF8 animes... Cool

For which? Legend of the Crystals (because Linaly's glowing butt was hilarious, I don't care what anyone says), or Unlimited? Because Unlimited got pretty deep with the drama cd's and all (they finished the story that way, since the anime got canned, bah.)
