So many good old guys to choose from. You have any particular favorites?

(Wondering what made me think of this? Listening to Caleb Elijah's remix of Strago's theme).

The old dude in Wind Waker was Sturgeon.

And my vote goes to Tellah, simply because he introduced us to the word "spoony".

the elder in Terranigma! the old dude in wind waker was just a sidekick, and strago... never "used" him. the elder was just an awesome evil puppet of dark gaia, that makes him pretty much awesome Very Happy

It's a toss-up for me for Tellah and Bugenhagen. Tellah was. Well. HE WAS TELLAH, and I always giggle like a madwoman when I play FF4 and I get to his YOU SPOONY BARD!! line. And Bugenhagen was hilarious with his "Hohoho!" to me, I don't even know why.

The guy from The Wind Waker. I beat the game over 9000 times but my memories of it are still pretty foggy. I remember that I liked him though.

Tellah is pretty cool too. My dad has a friend who looks EXACTLY like him.

The Elder is a jerk.

I don't know if this man could be considered a geezer (maybe just middle aged) but the Shopkeeper from Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

But he has otherworldly powerz! and can change your name!

I was sad to see that he doesn't say that in the Japanese version. However, Kain DOES call Rosa a whore to Cecil. Very Happy

I have to vote for Tellah too because he is the only I recognize. He was a good character because he had good magic when you first get to have him in your party...and he was funny, like Parom and Polom. Didn't Tellah and the other old dude team up to try and defeat the last boss?
