So I've started selling my fluids. No, not that. There's this place in town that will pay you to make Plasma Donations.
Plasma, for those of you who don't know, is the liquid part of your blood that carries the red blood cells around your body. You can make two donations a week and they pay you $20 for the first and $30 for the second donation in a one-week period, which means, about $200 a month.
You won't get rich doing it, but what the hell it's a worthy cause (they use the donated plasma in medical research and for transplants and stuff like that) and you get some extra pocket change. Not a bad trade off.
I go into more grizzly detail on my LJ article about it. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Not a bad deal. $200 isn't exactly a fortune, but it's money for not much effort.
I don't know if there's any place where I live to sell blood and/or plasma. There's just a blood clinic setting up in various places where people donate, so I just go to that every 2 months (they make you wait at least 56 days between donations). But you donate a unit of blood in its entirety there, which is why they make you wait. _________________
