Happy Birthday TerraEarth- Mark 9

Jason Tandro · Mon Oct 19, 2009 4:30 pm

9 years of TerraEarth goodness, 7 of which I have been around for.

Keep up the good work guys!

I don't even remember when I first came around. It doesn't seem like that long ago.

Happy birthday TE, you wonderfully glorious bastard.

I actually don't know when I first joined, but I dug out these photos from the ancient draw-other-members-thread, and they date on August 2004, so, I was around at minimum at that point, although I was well established in the community back then, I'd say.

Thats the one raini drew,

and this is the one from Freedan

I think I drew Fixy and...maybe Flamez, but I don't have their pictures anymore :/

With nostalgic stuff dug out, happy birthday TerraEarth! To the next 9 years of "Darn it, I can't get away from this place!"

I remember drawing that.

I should start another thread like that. New members have come and gone, so there's new artwork to produce.

I joined in the Fall of 2003, if I recall correctly.

[Edit: Cripes, now that I mention that, I just realize that my signature has been wrong for months. It says I joined Fall 2002. I joined the forums in my 10th grade year, in October... so yeah around Fall 2003].

That means, the pictures are either wrong-dated, or we had this contest wayy after I joined, cuz if I remeber correctly, I joined before Jason.

I joined right before Lenc left for the first time, and TerreaKnut & Flamez were around, and ...

Hey, do you remember the big forum crash when we all moved to boxxle.net's forum?

Jason Tandro · Posted: Mon Oct 19, 2009 8:08 pm Post subject:

Yeah I know you were on before I was too. If I remember correctly we had an interesting PM battle, lol.

I know! I wish the old boards hadn't crashed. There were so many wonderful threads that got destoryed forever... plus I could remember the exact date I signed up.

Here's a fond look at some of the classic threads that have forever been lost, but will never be CTRL-ALT-DELETED from our hearts:

The Original RP Punch-Up
TerraEarthian Rhapsody
The Original postings of TCOITE and TerraEarth Adventures
The Adult Shizzle Thread
Will Is a Cold Uncaring Bastard
