imma find a nice day during the break and watch it. cause it'll load all day as i found out yesterday..

from what little i've seen... the acting is bad and link's hair is cool. but it doesn't fit the actor very well

all in all, it's hard to watch till the end they took so much time, I hoped it was better, at least like some of the LotR fan-movies... it's the goodwill that counts. but the CG was so unnecessary and I'm sure this took so much time and effort, totally wasted work. the choreography in the human-fights was pretty decent, why the many "monsters"? the second half when Link starts to search for the sages is really ridicolous
besides, I really don't know who made this guy the main actor. even for a fan based movie, his acting is miserable. he makes Link look like a total fool

ok scratch that last one. found a download for it.

and, in summary:

pretty good movie, even considering its fanmade. it beats mortal kombat 2, easily. They did some good work with the story, although i must say the entire kokiri forest scene had me cringing and facepalming. The choreography was poor (but that is to be expected, in the absence of professional stunt-people), and some characters werent portrayed very well.

Link was done fairly well, i think. except his hair. too blonde, too blatantly fake. doesnt blow in the wind or anything. Zelda, aside from bearing little resemblance to the character herself, was also rather off in terms of her role. Not the best choice of actress, in my opinion. In that particular part of the story, i think they dropped the ball. As psychokind also mentioned, Malon and her father were played well.

The scenery was amazing, even with the gratuitous and obvious use of CG. Some scenes were too easily discernible as green-screen things (still background without adequate lighting).

Parts in the end of the movie were very rushed, but if it hadnt been, the movie would have ended up about 3 hours long. which would have been awesome, but i bet this one took them months to make. All in all, an impressive effort, and a good way to kill 2 hours.



ps. in waiting for this to download, i got into the zelda mood by booting up my oot rom. after several attempts to imitate something i saw on youtube, i managed to beat queen gohma in about 5 seconds.
