the only option I knew to get Mew was at the pokemon conventions/tournaments in germany. you could upload it via link-cable. |

Like I said, I got mine via a dupe trick. A kid I knew had a friend that got Mew at a convention and they dupe-tricked her into everyone else's game, and in turn I got her by the same means. So she's on my Blue cart. _________________

that's ok, I know of the dupe trick. but I don't know of any other way than get it without someone getting it from the conventions. I had 13 mewtwos. _________________

Everybody who's played Pokemon Red/Blue has used the Missing No. glitch at least once. Note I qualify it as a "glitch" rather than a "cheat".

Glitch

An error in the game, beneficial or negative.

Cheat

An alteration to the game by outside forces which is always beneficial to the user.

I used to be in a Pokemon Club as a kid with my friend Ray Morris. He used a Code Master thingy and would cheat his way up through the game. The other guys there (some as old as 21) though this was cheap.

But nobody begrudged me using the Missing No. glitch to get practically infinite Master Balls, Rare Candy, stat boost items and healing items. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

thats because you arent 'cheating' as such, you are merely using the game and the less-than-sturdy programming to achieve your ends

although the funniest thing with that is using a combination of mad glitches to beat the game in about a hour and a half _________________
