was spearfishin yesterday with some mates n one of these bad boys swam right past me. was about 6ft long kinda freaky lol. n there was a massive sting ray too which looked awesome. the shark was a grey nurse n they arent aggressive like great whites n bronze whalers.

I do. but... you took your SPEAR and jumped into the WATER to CUT OFF FISHES, when suddenly a SHARK and a STING RAY appeared. luckily, the shark was NOT DANGEROUS, because he was a NURSE. awesome Laughing

oh man, I'd pay money to use archaic weapons and hunt down animals... on the other hand, land animals are hard to kill, especially boars. might kill you Very Happy

hahaha its not quite as primitive. u have snorkelling gear so ur underwater and u can dive right down, and my spear gun is similar to a crossbow; really hard to load cos u gotta pull the rubber back far for max power. the spear itself is steel and theres a line on the end of it so obviously bigger fish just wont swim off with ur spear in them >< n trust me some fish could do it easy. u should see the blue groper around here 0.o

Whoa! Be careful in next time! A drop of blood would bring an end to your life, DG. Sharks can smell blood and body fluids in miles. Stingrays too if you step on them.
Any chances you have special shark-repelling gears with you?

nah man. sharks actually prefer fish smell over human but yeah blood n stuff attracts them. but ive been in the water with sharks fairly often its only a few certain types u gotta watch out for. some are crazy angry ><
